A 24/7 DIGITAL TV STATION TURNS TACO NIGHT INTO TAC-O LIFE

SPICING UP THE DIGITAL AIRWAVES WITH FRESH TAC-O CONTENT MODELED OFF OF 90S TV NOSTALGIA.

Dan-O’s wants to be the most fun brand in food. When it came to launching their new Tac-O taco seasoning they asked us to spice things up. So we created a one-of-a-kind TV network hosting content that’s all tacos all the time to drive awareness to the product launch.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Dan-O’s is no slouch when it comes to content creation. With millions of views on TikTok alone, some might even say it’s their bread and butter. So to continue to tell their story of deliciously tasty seasonings we created a 24/7 content channel dedicated to all things taco. We partnered with a number of online influencers, Dan-O’s internal team, improv artists, and aspiring film students (making it part of their actual curriculum) to cook up as much content as possible.

THE AUDIENCE 

Tac-O seasoning allows you to turn any food from morsel to mega-feast into a taco with just a shake of the bottle. We targeted at-home cooks, chefs, and freestyle culinary creatives who were looking to spice up their everyday with a little Yum Yum, Getcha Sum in every bite. Opening up a world of possibilities when it came to mealtime, snack time, or anytime.

THE IDEA

Tacos are forever and Tuesdays are never enough. That's why we created Tac-O TV, a 24/7 station to celebrate every taco occasion. For it, we built a custom website to not only house the programming, but also to give the experience some nostalgic flare. There viewers enjoyed a variety of delicious and savory taco propaganda.

Tac-O TV features original taco content sponsored by Dan-O’s Tac-O seasoning. From taco recipes and cartoons, to talk shows and avant garde taco installations, Tac-O TV covered it all.  If there’s a taco in it, it’s on Tac-O TV.

 

TAC-O TV With Avi Cato
A late night news format for daytime TV. Avi’s brand of spicy news and bold takes serves up everything from taco history to pieces on local taco spots in the greater Phoenix area. If it has to do with delicious tacos, you bet Avi’s gonna Talk About It.

PAINTING WITH TACO ROSS

Can life imitate art? Of course it can! Renowned artist, Taco Ross, is known for his prolific landscape Taco paintings. In this hour-plus segment, we chill out with Taco Ross and watch as he inspires and moves us all to get creative with the canvas and in the kitchen.

THE TACO PUPPY BOWL

Just like Tac-O seasoning, adding a little bit of Tac-O to a winning recipe makes for some amazing and adorable content. The only thing that’s better than the Puppy Bowl is the Puppy Bowl with taco costumes and snacks. 

DAILY TACO AFFIRMATIONS

We all doom scroll, sometimes even nightly. An important facet of Tac-O TV’s programming was positive messaging and what better way to affirm our viewers and stomachs than with taco-based affirmations?

TACO EATING CONTEST

Maybe the most fulfilling piece to produce, we held an office-wide taco-eating contest with contestants that ranged from Taco aficionado’s to novice nacho nibblers. You can’t have a full-on taco TV network without featuring some of the action-packed excitement that is a taco eating contest.
